The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 1.1
Pacman 2005 1.1 is a free remake of the origina Pacman game of the 1980s.

In this game, a tiny yellow man must eat all the dots of a level avoiding to be caught by his enemies, the ghosts.

The game can be installed in 17 different languages.

Pacman 2005 has 60 levels and three game modes.
The difficulty of the game will increase as you play.

While walking through the mazes, you will find some bonuses that can make you invisible or even invincible for a while.

With the included level editor you will be able to create your own mazes, by placing walls, paths, bonuses and dots wherever you want. Those levels can be saved and played.

The high scores will be published in the Web site of the developer. You can share your customized levels with others, if you want.

To run Pacman 2005 you will need to have Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP/Vista
installed, your microprocessor will need to be PII 233 MMX or higher, with at least 16 Mb of RAM and 5 Mb. of free hard disk space.

The program contains links to other games from the author of Pacman 2005.


  • It´s a good free version of the original game. The Level Editor is a nice addition.
